Price matching DVDs

I was at Best Buy this morning (yes, i actually woke up around 6:30 to get there at opening...which is really amazing because i got in bed at 3:45) and I put aside a bunch of their cheap DVDs (i actually hid them behind a LinkSys router and left the store because the line was too long and I didn't wait around, so then I went over to Circuit City and saw that their DVD prices were so much higher and that they had a 110% pricematching deal, so I just went ahead and grabbed Patriot (special edition), Braveheart, Fight Club (the 2 cd one), Shawshank Redemption, and MIB all for a grand total of $61.32. I was very satisfied with myself because the Circuit City prices for those five DVDs would've added up to somewhere around 119 dollars. Gotta love it.

Oh yeah, and I also grabbed an APEX AD703 model on a whim for one of the beach houses. Is that model any good? I know that it wouldn't have the 600a's secret menu, but what do you guys think of that player? I got it for 179, and I wasn't really in a mood to shop around too much (especially not after hitting best buy, circuit city, and target all on the nightmare morning...). I did debate beating some short old woman for a 89 dollar KLH221 model earlier in the morning, but I decided that there would be too many witnesses, and I wouldn't be able to escape very well, what with the 45 minute wait in line.

heh heh, turns out i can get 20 bucks in mail-in rebated on those 5 movies too, so it works out to about 8 bucks per movie. Gotta love being a bitch to the companies!
