Anyone teach/learn capoeira/tai chi?

anyone here learning capoeira, or knows of a good/(ahem) not-expensive teacher for capoeira or tai chi in the Hacienda Heights area or even just the LA area?

if you don't know what capoeira is, go to blockbuster, and rent tekken 3. play as eddie. that's capoeira! or rent "only the strong". (not exactly an oscar movie, but that's not really why you would rent it anyways.)

if you don't know what tai chi is. uhh...rent marvel vs capcom 2. and play as ken. that's not really tai chi, but at least you get to have fun.

or if you know what tai chi is, and want to start a group, please let me know.

maybe we work as a distance learning program?

actually, i've found the most affordable martial arts training to be on campuses - either organized clubs or college students willing to spread their knowledge. so, check local college websites for their athletic clubs or stop by the athletic centers and see if there are any classes being offered.

also, go to the ethnic clubs that would have people who practice what you're wanting to study (chinese student orgs for ta'i chi or brazilian student orgs for capoeira). good luck.
