Napster Metallica workaround

OK, I'm sure this has been posted a billion times, but every time I try to re-register with Napster I get the "banned by metallica" message. How can I work around this?

I apologize since I know this is a stupid question that has been answered before but I would appreciate the help.

Thx,

Dealfan

IIRC, you could appeal to napster. Then Metalica would have to go after you personally with legal action. Of course, this is pretty unlikely, given that they've got napster on the ropes, and they've said they won't go after individual fans. You just inform them that you already have the albums that you downloaded song from. (Of course, don't we all?) I read this at some site the day after the banning.

Simultaneous Lifetimes

by jananda

...As I progressed in my spiritual growth and was given many beautiful experiences, it was astonishing for me to experience many bouts of depression and negative thoughtforms around me. I knew that when one is sensitive it is possible to feel energy from other dimension, particularly the so-called astral dimension.

The astral dimension (or Kingdom if you like) is a place or state of consciousness in which human can abide between incarnations. (It is important that I also state that any being living in the astral dimension is there by his/her own choice, and it is the being's own decision to leave that state of conciousness and enter a higher and happier level in the astral dimension.)...

I've got what I think is the strangest good-idea I've come with to date. Now I have to be a prick and not share it for fear that someone smarter stronger and better looking will nail me to a wall with it and make a million while I sob in Off-Topic... The deal is I want to know ANY advice you can give me... anyone who has ever pursued an idea and failed/succeeded. Good web sites to help get started, agency's that can be trusted... what are just some basic steps to start out right...

I would start getting background info on the idea. ie) if it is an invention then go look for patents.
if a web based thing then look to see what is out there and stuff.
See what equipment you need and see if u need to get parnters. Also if you are still in school it would be good to talk to a professor about it or some guidance area.

Right now i am going to draw up a porposal that would include expenses and prospective income and partners. Then I since mine is a relation based idea i will have to present this to different places to get sponsership or i can use my own capital and have a working demo of it

Success depends on how much time and effort you are going to put in it.
do not let ppl discourage you. My father thought of the phone card idea a long time ago but he never acted upon it because ppl told him it was stupid and see how rich he would be now. =P o well good luck

That is true
I forogt about that one. My team of ppl made this cool thing but we had a fight over ownership and profit and thus never made it out in the market. It would have been something nice and prolly would be the fad for at least a few months

Movies coming out friday

if a movie isnt rated R it isnt worth seeing in the theater(unless i'm using another free movie ticket)

__________________
Just so you guys know, Space Cowboys blows . The only good part of the movie is the cg. (actually, my favorite part was when they were in the cabin of the shuttle. you know how they are supposed to be floating around? well they were just walking .) Only see Space Cowboys if A. Your old, or B. You saw Thomas and the Magic Railroad... and liked it.

Coyote ugly is ok. My friend seemed to like it, and from what I saw it was ok. (I didn't like how they dubbed a few scenes. they could have done that better) there's the barely clothed girls for the guys, and a women empowering plot for the womyn. quite an odd combonation.

And Hollowman should be good. I only saw 2/5 of it though. (I had to call the police and hold a drunk guy down who was trying to break into the theater.) But from what I saw the special effects are great. Can't really tell you about the plot, cause I didn't get to see much of it.

Are you kidding me? When we were in high school, my friend used to work at the theatre. Not only did we never pay to see ANY movie (even the night before opening) throughout high school, but it extended into college. Whenever I'm home, I've yet to pay for a movie...going on 7 years now. Theatres all have passes they give out if there's a fire alarm or something...workers just palm them as they're giving them to patrons.

tongyang, I work on the edge of the portland metro area (oregon) in forest grove (ie almost hickville).

hey pennypinch, we rarely, give out those emergency passes. usually when i see someone i know, i just point to the movie and say go on in.

I was wondering how many ABCs know how to write and read or speak chinese?
I myself know how to speak fluent Cantonese and am currently learning Mandrian and how to write.
I really wished I stuck with chinese school so that I can read and write chinese right now.

Just want to see how many of you know how to read/write/speak chinese if you are ABC

P.S. applys to other nationalities also.

I learned cantonese from family then tried learning Madrian from chinese school and ran into the same problem u had.
But now i am in college and they actually teach it like you don't know chinese ... then agian funny how 80% of the class is chinese ...

What Chinese school did you go to that requires you to take Bible? There's one just like that in Flushing, NY.

then after a few years of nothing I went to another chinese school - Ming Yuan in Elmhurst.

I'm not an ABC (I was born in Hong Kong, and can speak/write Cantonese/Mandarin), but I just wanted to say that I took Japanese in college, and it was so beneficial to know all those chinese characters in advance

Well, that's our parents fault than right. Not the church's fault. Cause the main purpose of the church is to teach the Bible, not the Chinese.

Hmmmm, but I happened to love the Bible Class portion of the classes, and HATED the Chinese.

Wow, Don't remember anymore. I started when I was like 6. So probably around '82-'83 and ended 6-7 years later. So I was there way before you.

But I won't be surprised if I saw you there. Or you saw me there before. Cause around the time you were there, I was (and still am) a member of that church now.
