did anyone watch the OU / Texas A&M game on saturday? did we kick some boooooty or what? __________________ I was at that game. Went with an Aggie friend. OU is good, but the wrecking crew sure gave you guys a scare! And then that run by Toombs on fourth and 1. Wooohm bet you thought the game was over! The best team won Saturday, but it was an amazing effort by the aggies. All I got to say is I was disappointed by the OU fans that attended. Overall I felt that they had no respect for A&M and I hope they learn to behave. They were loud during the national anthem and Texas state song, they cheered when an Aggie got hurt (when a Sooner got hurt the A&M fans behaved), and then they were chucking oranges at Aggies (granted throwing oranges on the field is appropriate, but not at players). I'm going to be rooting for the Cornhuskers when the two meet again. __________________ that IS disappointing... (sp?)too bad they didn't behave. it was definitely pretty clos for a while. our guys really messed up trying to grab the ball instead of tackling the guy. (sorry, I'm not ver football savvy - almost never have time to watch it.) __________________ But on the flip side... This has got to be a great thrill for OU fans... I mean after years of Nebraska, and Colorado dominating the Big 12 (and Big 8), here's a fresh team that is just dominating the rest of the conference. So I don't blame these fans for being excited about their season (hey I don't know if I'd behave any better than them!)And what a game these guys pulled out against Nebraska! Nevertheless, I will be rooting against them. Hey, you gotta love the game! __________________ Sorry guys but They will be losing their BCS bid on December 2, where as the Kansas State WildCats will Stomp you at the Big12 divisional championships, so you beat them by 10, that was the 1st big game... You saw what happend to Nebraska, KSU only getting better... If anyone is going to the game as I hope to, let me know, we can wear our Apex shirts!!!__________________ Bah, I'll let you hicks fight it out amongst yourselves. Nebraska? Oklahoma? KANSAS STATE?!? I guess it beats worrying about who's going to break into your house next, like we cit-ay folk. __________________ Midwest doesn't mean Hick, I am extremely offended?@! Hicks have cars in the front lawn they work on, not computers in their living room!!! Silly penny! I am from a big city and although Nebraska's mascot is the Corn Huskers KSU is completly seperate, we have Pizza Hut and er... J/K we have almost everything a surburban community would have and some tractors and fields!!!__________________ Quote:
I think you are mistaken. You like in Manhatten, Kansas, not Manhatten, New York. You therefore don't live in a "big city" but a "hick town", in the parlance of our times. __________________ Manhattan, not en, anyway, I said FROM not in, but Manhattan has a population of close to 50k with student so during school I can't allow you to clasify it as Hick!!! Hick is 150, with the grain mill, anyway I was raised in the Lou, and although country grammer is from there it also is not hick... Go WildcatsSEP ___ I rest my case ___ Mavi forum |
