Anyone know of a good site for studying A_ certification?

Any help is appreciated.

I just signed up for a course from smartcertify. The course is on CDROM and it cost me $699. Supposedly, this price expired last week. It is normally $1299. If you are interested, I have a contact phone number for them. If you don't pass the A+ course after two attempts within 90 days, you will get your money back.

I got my MCSE Exam cram books from here for 9.99 and a free A+ Book (about 1300 pages), for free.. but I kinda weasled the A+ book because they didn't send me all of my MCSE books, I got a raincheck for $40.00, used it for the A+ book, then spoke with a young customer service rep who sent me my missing books.. I actually heard of the deal here on Got | Apex last October.

I took my A+ over the summer and passed piece o' cake. Here's what I did:

Bought a book by Michael Meyers off Amazon for $20 off the price=40 bucks
(really helpful)

I then searched the internet for A+ studyguides, practices, exams and such. Here were some of the free sites I found:

http://www.leapit.com
http://www.brainbuzz.com

and there are a host of other, personal web pages designed to help you out.

I believe CompTIA is updating the test soon, making much of what's online obsolete...but in general, what I found online gave me an excellent idea for what was on the test.

The tests totalled at about 42 questions together and it took me about a 20 minutes to finish the darned thing. (If you ask the guys in the Hardware forum, they know I'm not the best at this stuff, so it can't be that hard)The best part about it: I spent 40 bucks and about a month and a half studying in my spare time (I had little experience up to that point)

Tip: Memorize IRQ defaults and DMA defaults...

Hope this helps.
