Kitty Krack

I made the mistake of gettin' a whole bunch of those cat food meals in capri~sun bags the last time I floated through safeway at 3 am

now the cat won't stop bugin' me for more!

Like not even 25 minutes before he starts whining for it again and again!

stay away from Kitty Krack!

:0)

Do you mean those "moist" cat food things? I have stayed away from moist food since I had my first cat. Fed that mother fancy feast or something like that, and was stuck with a $40-50 a month cat food bill. Lucky my ex catnapped him when we broke up, I now am a dry food devotee.

It's funny though, my current cat is totally disinterested in human food, and frankly, doesn't really enjoy eating anything. Not even those supposedly "delicious" cat treats, which, I'll agree with her, smell rancid.

Vet says she's just got a negative body image. I think he's a quack.

This whole cats eating human food thing was new to me until about 5 years ago. My parent's have always had cats. None of them like "real" food. Even our current cat hates anything that has been touched by his biped slaves. BUT, my aunt has 3 cats. All 3 are into anything human. Be it cheese, pickles or bread. At one point, they had to hide loaves of bread b/c the cat would ruin whole loaves. I just don't get it.

pickles?? hahah!
i once had a horse that would eat anything.. i gave her a banana peel and she ate it! that horse was crazy.. she also drank beer and HiC and whatever else we gave her.

my dog likes a lot of stuff too.., she eats lots of fruits and vegetables. she'll even pick berries and fruit off the bush/tree!

'tis why I'm not a cat person.

Where's the adorable nature of eating whatever you throw at them? Where's the unconditional love that if you forget to feed it for a week, it'll just chew on grass, backyard rodents and small children? Dogs are great.

Besides, cats are way too prissy. Hey, if it's good enough for me, it's sure as hell good enough for you.

I'll echo Deniro's sentiments in Meet the Parents. To paraphrase:

Cats make you earn their affection. Dogs are stupid enough to devote themselves to any goon who'll feed them (or in your case, I guess, not feed them!)
