After asking for help w/ a few deals myself and receiving little or no response...and after scrolling down all of the available topics and noticing 2 or 3 responses at the maximum for most of them.....I feel it is my duty to say something. __________________ I couldn't agree with you more. I would like to help out more on the "Need Deals?" bbs, but everybody there wants tech stuff. I don't know anything about that kind of stuff. Books, food, make-up, even clothes, yes; technological stuff, no way, Jose. I wish I could tell them where to look, but I have no idea myself.__________________ this issue has "divided" the mass ever since the forums section began. i believe that respect is the whole underlying issue, whether it is for the "needs deal" section, or just a novice using the service. sometimes, i just don't feel there's very much respect here. i've wrote a LONG post on that issue, but people just wrote back defending their actions. i think the best thing to do, is not to take things too personal. and know that there's gonna be people who will help, and there will be people who won't. there's going to be people who will flame, and some who won't. just don't give up, and keep trying. __________________ its not really an issue of taking things personally...its more about this being a community, in a community people should learn to give as well as receive__________________ o well in a growing comunity problems always arises =P__________________ Come on people...get over it. If you post in need deals, you are asking for help. You can't just make people help you. When you get a response that is a favor, not something someone owes you. If people don't want to check the need deals forum, that is their own right. I myself check it everytime I check the board. When you ask for help finding a deal, be happy if someone helps you. If you don't get a response, time to go do your own research. ~NiceMann __________________ sometimes, the only responses deal requests ever got in the got deals forum were replies telling them that the question was in the wrong forum, etc. more replies were added because the first reply was flamebait. now, in the need deals forum, no one can rightly say that the request is posted in the wrong forum, so there are not as many replies.__________________ actually coleslaw...you make a good point__________________ *YARN*__________________ quote: I don't think most say wrong forum but rather bad topic. but lately i have seen more locks on the got deals forum then before . |
