Anyone know the artist and title that go with these lyrics? (Recent pop song)

I've heard this on the radio a few times and I'll be damned if I can figure it out. Rather than calling up the DJ and singing it to him to find out (which I actually did once and of course which was broadcasted to most of southern new england and the listening internet audience, embarassingly enough) I thought I'd ask here. Usually I'd just plug in the bits of lyrics I know into Altavista, and it has always in the past popped up some lyrics page, but not this time.
