I know this is not the appropriate forum to ask for deals, but I need to make a decision very fast about switching my local telephone service and I know 95% of gotapex users visit only this forum (atleast I do).
Anyway, I recently moved from an apartment to a new house. Since I live in NY state my local provider is Verizon (formerly known as Bell Atlantic). As you know Verizon was on strike for more than 10 days, and I could not switch my telephone service to our new house. Its been 10 painful days without telephone or internet. Today, I called them to simply switch my service to new house and they tell me I can't get my phone service until September 30th cuz' they have tonnes of backorders. (No Gotapex for a month, hell no). Now I decided to switch my service to another company, I have a choice amongst AT&T, Sprint and MCI for local.
1) Which is better AT&T, Sprint or MCI?
2) I had a local plan with Verizon where I pay like 27 bucks to make unlimited local calls, is there any plan that you guys can suggest me which is simiilar to this?
3) Is there any special deal that I can make with these guys, for example like air miles, or rebates that I should know about?
4) Any special deal if I have local, long distance and International from the same company??
