What resolution do u run ur monitor at??.. __________________ Same. Sometimes I put it at 1024x768 if I'm gonna be working for a while. I have a low-end 17".__________________ 1024/768 here__________________ 1280x960 @ 32bit color.__________________ 1280*1024*32 most of the time1600*1200 if i'm actually doing something (usually for programing/editing) __________________ 1600x1200x16bpp__________________ 1600x1200 32 Bit Color__________________ I was running at 1280x1024x32 until Apex hooked me up with this 21"Now I'm doing 1600x1200x32. I want to run 1800x1440, but should probably upgrade from my ATI AIW128. __________________ 1024*768 @ true color__________________ 32 Bit 15 inch or 19 inch depends which comp I use both Trinatron__________________ 1152x864 at 32bit on a 21" Iiyamanow as soon as I can get a dual head nvidia MX I can hook up the other 21" for 2304x1728 __________________ Also 1152*864*32 on my computer.__________________ 1024x768 on my 15" at work and at home.also, I help out with my brother's video editing business, and he has two 17" running at 1024x768 also. __________________ I run at 10 beads by 8 beads on mah binary abacus.__________________ I'm a 320x240 man myself ;pNah, I do 1280x1024, 32-bit, at 85khz on my 21", and I sometimes bump it up to 1600x1200, but with this old ATI card I get abysmal refresh rates. __________________ 1280X1024 @ 32bit__________________ 1024x768x32 but most people who dont write code and stuff like that use 800x600x32 so I would make your website suitable for that.__________________ thx ppl.. keep the responses comin inso far 1024X768 is winning __________________ im runnin at 1024 x 768 pixels - 32bit color so i guess i tie for the lead __________________ I can dig it:[quote]Originally posted by colossus [b]I was running at 1280x1024x32 until Apex hooked me up with this 21" Now I'm doing 1600x1200x32. But I run my 3d games @ 1280x1024x32. My last "Micron monitor" did nothing better than 1024x768x32 so I'm loving this Hitachi SuperScan 813 21" that makes use of my CII 566@ 850 W/GF2 Thanks Again Apex !!! And Of course SBP for helping me get the CII there ! __________________ What Chris said here's really true - all of my serious (well, seriousness is relative, I guess) web pages are designed for 800x600, because pages that are created at a larger resolution look abysmal with the scroll bars and whatnot when shrunk down.Quote:
__________________ 1024x768x32 thats as high as mine will go__________________ 1280x1024Everyone is correct with the 800x600 recommendation. The typical internet surfer (non-geek types) rarely have resolutions higher than that. My father-in-law has a 19 inch monitor and still runs it at 800 x 600. Then there is the whole webTV issue. Almost any website gets squished with that thing. Mavi forum |
