Senior Member Status

This is a little off topic but how does someone become a senior member. I looked at myself today and I noticed that I have a thingy next to my name. I was wondering how those thingys are given out. I checked the FAQ's and didn't say how those are assinged. There's an "Off-Topic" forum for which messages like this one can be posted.
