heh, I got the reply after I threatened to contact the FTC...

So basically, I (might) get paid a MONTH after the reported close of the survey. What a load of bull chips....

Hello again! Lets all cross our fingers... Here's my message and here's the response I got...

Donna,
I haven't had a response from you since my last reply so I am trying again. Yes, I signed up for PayPal quite some time ago. As of 7/6/2000, there have not been any deposits made to the account nor have there been any credits to my credit card from PayPal. I am getting concerned as to whether or not RhinoPoint is conducting a legitimate
business. Please respond as soon as you can.

RESPONSE:
All credits due will be issued by the end of next week in the form of a check. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you,
Donna

Donna@rhinopoint.com is the E-mail addy you want. I tried to sign up for paypal using 3 different credit cards and none of them were accepted, which to me is very strange since they work everywhere else! I have heard that this is a known problem with other people as well but PayPal refuses to ackowledge the problem saying that it must be on your creditors end. BS.

I just got and filled out another survey. That makes two. If they're still cranking out surveys maybe there's some hope of getting my $ someday.

Yeah, the really stupid/gullible part of me thinks they seem to be working too hard for this to truly be a scam... if it were an all out scam, it seems like they would've taken our $12/$15, never sent out any surveys (or created all the same one for everyone) and then disappeared...

The fact they're still around, still pumping new surveys, answering semi-nasty email, etc... I just wonder if they didn't bite off more than they could chew.

I still say report 'em to the FTC and keep them honest, if nothing else. http://www.ftc.gov
