I need help from you music buffs

Its not that I have trouble finding music, it's knowing what's good or not.
Thanks for the suggestion

Hey,
I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for 80's/techno music to put on a mixed cd for my bf. I'm more of a pop listener so I dont know of a lot of 80's music. If you could suggest something I would appreciate it!

Well, I don't know if you can get your hands on some old Superstar DJ Keoki, but he was pretty big back in the very late 80's, in the 90's.
You want 80's music? Jeez, if you're still in college, that shouldn't be too hard to find at all.

I love that song "Living in Oblivion" by anything box. "Only you" by Yaz is a really cool song. I think almost everyone likes those songs. Did you mean 80's and techno or 80's techno?

Yeah, that's what I was wondering, there wasn't that much techno that I remember (granted, I was in elementary school for much of the 80's...)

Sorry for the confusion. I'm looking for 80's and Techno. Not 80's techno..

Ooooh...well, then, Orbital's InSides is a legendary album...Orb's Toxygene is prevalently good, but has some doggy tracks. Not the last Moby album, but the one before that (forgot the name!) is pretty good. Not TRUE techno, but Massive Attack's Blue Lines is a classic. Again, if you're looking silly techno compilations, you can't go far wrong with Superstar DJ Keoki, especially Superstar DJ Deathrace 2000 (I think that's what its called). Avoid Egotrip, it's pretty bad. Ummm, other than that, I can't think of anything off the top of my head.

I think that one was called like Dwr Bdwr or something like that. Yes, that was a titanic album. Especially if you got the limted edition one with the 26 minute version of The Box. That was phat. I had it, by my car got jacked at Christmas time, lost like 245 CD's. Now i have the ghetto one with The Saint soundtrack, which blows huge goats.
