Does anyone know of a program that lets you telnet into a linux box with x-windows and use it through an x-win emulator, so you can basicly use it as if you were sitting at the computer, but over a network? I dont want pc anywhere type program but a telnet program. Any idea's? Thanks __________________ ok hapoo... i think you may have stumped me. i don't think i can help you out this time man. i haven't been in a situation where i needed to do something like that, although i used to access a remote unix box through telnet on a windows nt box. you should be able to use straight telnet - maybe.__________________ I think VNC does it. Doesn't telnet in though.__________________ If you're looking for a full X-terminal for Windows:http://www.lab-pro.com/ http://www.starnet.com/productinfo/ http://www.xlink.com/nfs_products/Om...S_X_Server.htm http://superx.frontiertech.com/ If you just want a telnet app with Linux console emulation for Windows: http://www.vandyke.com/products/securecrt/index.html http://www.siliconcircus.com/penguinet/ __________________ now thats what i'm talking about!! |
