The flaming Dr. Pepper (The best ones can be found at Igor's Laundry, Bar + Grill on St. Charles Ave. New Orleans) Pour 1 small mug of beer (approx. 10 Oz. Frosted Glass, good and cold) Set up one shot of amaretto, then pour a thin layer of 151, diesel, everclear, 191, or some equally noxious paint thinner over the shot. Its like a boiler maker from there. For any rank amateurs, that's "light the top layer of the shot on fire, drop the shot into the beer (make sure you do it before the top layer finishes burning), then pound it all down. If you did it right (didn't let the shot finish burning and didn't dilly-dally slugging it down), it should taste like a Dr. Pepper with a kick." __________________ This drink is best done with a light cheapo beer. I recommend MGD. Darker beers and micro brews are too full bodied and will overpower the amaretto. __________________ I know it's pretty much a sin to waste a Guiness in the following way, but it sure does taste good.... It's known around me as a Car Bomb, or also as an Irish Car Bomb. Take one shot of Bailey's, and one pint of Guiness. Drop the shot into the Guiness and pound it as quick as you can.
