Novell has a big image problem. I go to your web site and what strikes me most is how much the it reminds me of the box I got my paradise 256k vga card I got back in 1991. This is not good.
Now, unless Novell's idea of increasing investor value consists of more than a slim hope of being bought by Microsoft I have a better idea to share with you.
The Simpsons. Yes, the cartoon ones on the Fox network. You have an advantage in that its on the Fox network; Rupert Murduch is engaged in race to beat Bill Gates as richest man in the American Mind. If they can increase candybar sales, imagine what they can do for plain jain Novell. Now I would envision using the main characters in cameos, more in the backround while *ching ching*(that's a cash register sound if you weren't familiar) characters like Barney, Otto, and maybe in even Homer in a startling career change, as Novell certified engineers! Except they'd be more conpetent then their HardBall competitors. HardBall would be a competitor that tries to use flash over substance to move their inferior Walls software that constantly crashes and needs to be babysat.
You could get Rupert on board with a couple of million stock options, and BOOM, you've got synergy. A free ride on all of News Corps media outlets, especially prime time adverts on the Simpsons!
