NSF says 8 1/2 to 9 1/4 hours of sleep for teens every (or *any*) night? HAH!

Last night I went to bed at midnight, and I've been up since 2:30 working. Sorry National Sleep Foundation, I don't think teachers and colleges listen to those recommendations...

I had a project I spent 23 hours on and it was scrapped I am on hour 38 on the new one and barly get 4+ hours of sleep a night much less post in here...

Hey, just wait a few years until I start pulling 40 hour shifts during my General Surgery Rotations hehe. Yes, I said 40 hour shifts. If you think I'm kidding, just watch the next episode of Hopkins 24/7.

No wonder my classmates sister who's doing ICU right now drove her car off the freeway. Pulling 38 hours straight with 4 coding patients in an ICU is just deadly. Thankfully she didn't get killed, but just one of the 10 or so docs I know who fell asleep while driving back. Sad sad state of affairs...zzzzzzzzzz

They way I look at it is this: If I am woken up, I am tired. If I sleep till I wake up normally around 2pm or so, I am fine. Since school is starting, and I will be up till three, its time to decide between sleep and less class or class and less sleep.

Hapoo, I don't snore! You knew that when you, err....nevermind.

I only snore when I'm really congested with a flu or something. I move around a lot when I sleep though...

The body needs 8 hours if your under 22 or 23 or so or you are a training athlete. After that you need about 5 or 6,
or 3 or 4 if you drink coffee

or 2 to 3, then 14 - 16 Sat. and Sun.

just like all the other college students here, i get next to no sleep. I fell asleep at about 5:45 this morning (while watching "Boiler Room" in bed) and woke up at 9 o'clock to get ready for brunch with a friend and work right after that. Oddly enough, I eflt more rested than any other night since I've got back to school...and I had no problem staying awake today.
