You know that corny BS about "seeing it in their eyes" that they're always saying about atheletes - well Shaq had that! You could see it in Game 7, and after he made that awesome slam in Game 1 yesterday. No teams ever wins with one person. If the Bulls only had Pippen and Jordan, and say the rest manned by Clippers you think they would have won? Ron Harper knew he had to get out of there. When Magic Johnson was there in the Laker "dead" period, late 80's early 90's, why didn't they win? Cuz they didn't have the team. Last year Lakers didn't want it as you could tell by their game style. Plus it helps that Señor Jackson is leading them. I think Harris did a good job preparing them, but Jackson took 6 trips to the Finals and won them all. That's coaching skillz. Costas seems like an idiot sometimes. I conceed that Reggie had a horrible night, but to say the only reason Lakers won is because he made 1/16 shots or something is BS. He made 1/16 cuz Lakers had full defense so they could shut him down. Same way Portland sometimes had 2, 3, even 4 people jumping down on Shaq Diesel in the paint. Shaq was held back by Portland. Now Pacers have no weapon to defend themselves. I don't think losing Davis was their best move if they were planning on playing LA or Portland - teams with huge guys. The Pacers looked like fast midgets out there when Shaq was overpowering them! If Lakers win the game tonight, they'll have the momentum and confidence they need to pull off maybe 1 or 2 upsets in Hoosierland. I just hope the Laker BENCH can play as well as they did. Man, seeing AC Green just brought back memories hehe. Why is the guy still playing? Hey, he still surprised the "rookies" from Indiana though. I loved the look on their faces when he made a fade away. They were like "Aw man, please tell me AC Green did not just make that shot!" Go Lakers!
