I live in Redmond WA, right outside of seattle, but I go to school in Boston, go BU. __________________ You don't have to dial into BofA, you can just go to their website...But I agree completely, B&M banks just don't make sense for most normal transactions. I'm switching my money to First Internet Bank of Indiana, www.firstib.com. Gomez has a pretty sweet deal on them, give it a shot. I'm washing my hands of BofA just as soon as I can. __________________ Ya I just checked BofA's website and you have to download software which allows you to dial into to them, so you can't connect with out a modem, and I have dsl so I haven't used a modem in a long time.here is what their site says: "You can use HomeBanking with Banker On Line software from any IBM-compatible computer with Windows and a modem. It connects you directly to your accounts at Bank of America without going through an internet service provider." Oh well, but ya I need to get rid of them, they charged me 25 bucks cause I overdrew my account by $2, damn. __________________ Thats odd. I connect to BofA through the website without any probelms. I can check my account, make transfers and etc. Don't know what your problem is, never had to download software.__________________ I was confused too, but I think there might be a service that allows you to do more stuff if you download the software?? __________________ Ahh ha, I just finally figured this damned thing out, you can do the BofA online if you are in Cali, but not up here in Washington for some dumb reason, blah I hate this bank.__________________ Yeah, I was thinking that might of been your problem. Oh well, /me likey BofA very much.Mavi forum |
