CD Burner

I was wondering how to convert mp3s to cd audio format. I of course have a cd burner, but wasnt 100% sure. I've been told to convert the mp3s to .wav format & change the titles of the .wavs to the # corresponding to the desired track #

I also heard that only certian colors of CDRs work as audio cds....blue, green, gold...not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx

Use ezcd creator 4.0 or nero. It will automatically convert the .mp3 for you. Also, any cd-r should work with a cd player, just as long as your cd player isn't too old. It also just depends on the player, you have to experiment. But I personally have not had any problems from using the cheapest medai to the most espensive. Some people just have bad luck.

.mp3 to .wav is usually called decoding, reverse is usually called encoding. Winamp decodes, or you can get a decoder from www.cnet.com/downloads and look for mp3 decoder. I don't think color has to do with audio cd-r's. I have had better luck with the name brand cd-r's though such as verbatim, sony, tdk, maxell, or S&F.
