Anyone know that site that buys used cd's?

Remember that little WhatsHotNow.com "trick" a couple months ago? Well...I placed some orders last december, and I just got a box in today with six audio cd's...now, they're pretty old, and most I just ordered for the hell of it (i'm keeping jay-z vol.2, "can i get a..." is an awesome song). Anyway, I remember signing up for a site that buys your old audio cd's and gives you credit towards other cd's, anyone know it?

One place where you can trade in your old cd's is www.swapit.com

I signed up and got $10 credit a while back. It's actually not as cheap as I thought it would be because they charge $2 for each cd transaction, plus shipping.

Really? That sucks...guess i'll just pile up all these cd's and all cd's I don't want and sell em on eBay, it'll probably be a lot easier.

Try selling them on Half.com. If they're in good condition you might be able to get some good money on them. Half.com only charges 15% commission and they reimburse you for book rate shipping.

Thanks man...most of em are sealed anyhow. Oh well, even $50 for this pile of cd's would be cool, not like I paid a cent.

yeah, it isn't worth your while to sell used cd's online because you would have to somehow pay for shipping (either directly or indirectly). check out your local cd exchange. college communities usually have several of these. you can also find the best deals on used cds there too. where else can you find a perfectly good copy of Rusted Root's "When I Woke" for $4?? hehe
