Digital Camera Advice

I am considering purchasing a digital camera and just began looking into specs. I was wondering how quickly digital camera technology changes? Is it like computers where it becomes obsolete in less than a year? Thanks for all your advice! William Soung. __________________ Well, I worked in a computer store recently, and I found that it moves quick, but not as quick as CPU Speeds. Mostly, the cameras just add more features or drop in price. Also, when you start to talk about a camera having greater than 3 Megapixels, you are wasting money.
