Got Apex ICQ ActiveList

well, as many of you know, there was a thread up the other day about setting up a GotApex IM, so i thought i would pass this info on to you. There has been an ActiveList set up for ICQ/GotApex Users. It was announced on the main Got Apex page, and the list # is 74669138. I just joined the list, and although i'm not on ICQ too often, i look forward to seeing some of you on there. Later. Will i be missing anything? ------------------ Check out www.MadCool.com __________________ the way to add yourself depends on which version of icq you have. for icq2000, its really easy. first click on the ICQ button. then go to "add/invite users" and in that menu, go to "find/add an icq activelist." then just enter the number in the "search by list ID" box. as for the other versions of icq, i dunno how to do it. just download the 2000 version. its a lot better anyway! tuvi __________________ Possibly, MADCOOL. I checked a few minutes ago and there were like 5 GA people online. ProMinx __________________ Thank you much~! __________________ the newest version of icq is really bloated now. it hogs too much memory and takes too long to start up. It's just not the same as good ol' original icq. stick to aim. it's a nice small package though it doesn't have AL, i think it's better. __________________ Sorry for rehashing an old topic. . . but . . . what's the point of this? I'm kinda new with icq. __________________ yes quite an old topic. for some reason activelist doesn't like running on win2000. and they haven't freaking updated it in so long. gee i'm so happy aol took over icq... anyhow, server is down till i get it to work right. unless someone else wants to take it over. but the point of an activelist is to show a group of ppl on your icqlist w/o having to add all of them to your own. plus each activelist has it's own news section and chatroom.
